The resident bean pole at Betoota Heights Primary School has today taken some time to talk The Advocate through a recent phenomena that is gripping the school.
Johnathan Singh (27) who teaches 6c at BHPS, says he's still really struggling to wrap his head around the latest trend that the kids have jumped on.
"Yeah, this 6 7 thing has done me in," he laughed.
"This social media ban can't come soon enough."
"Because this seems like peak brain rot."
The new trend comes from a random TikyTok video, where someone said 6 or 7 in a weird way - which has now spread to all corners of social media (bar boomer Facebook comment sections).
"Yeah I understand where the trend comes from mate," laughed Singh.
"I just don't understand how we've got to a point where this is a trend."
"Maybe we've reached peak nihilism in a young generation where nothing matters and you find humour in the senseless."
"But I've stopped answering when they ask me my height."
"Cause I've had enough."
