In some exciting news from the utopian housing estate of Betoota Plains, a local man's life has just changed.

Local plumber Jayden Wilson is set for the big leagues, after being offered a juicy contract by an international F1 team.

The 27-year-old owner of a double garage pebblecrete piece of heaven was made the life changing offer after being spotted performing a stunning overtake on one of the tight bends on the way out of town.

"Yeah, it was a breath taking move of precision, testosterone and reflexivity," said the Alpine Racing scout visiting a family member from town.

"With an overtaking lane less than a kilometre away, he managed to put the foot down and hit the front just as the double lines clicked back in."

When quizzed on the circumstances around the overtake, the scout said that Jayden had been sitting tightly on his arse since turning out of the main street and wasted no time in hitting the gas.

"That ability to get right on the tail and then perform the stunning manoeuvre is worth its wait in gold."

"Jayden's getting the start in the big leagues."

"Look out Oscar Piastri."
