Sydney's rich cultural tapestry will be on display this weekend for Round 20 of the AFL.

Off the back of two historic non-Melbourne grand finals, it seems that Sydney could very well be the emerging Aussie Rules heartland. It's a title that relies on the friendly fire that will take place this weekend.

The Greater Western Sydney Giants are back at Homebush to take on their cross-city rivals for the Sydney Derby XXXIII - on the hallowed turf of ENGIE Stadium, a historic sporting venue that once served as the agricultural engine room for the entire Australian cattle industry.

But the days of showcasing the nation's prize bulls are behind us - aside from the Annual Easter Show - this stadium now serves as 'the giant's lair'.

And this weekend it will play host to the long-awaited family reunion for the Harbour City's estranged siblings. Both Sydney teams on the same pitch. In the geographical centre of the NSW Capital.

There will be only one winner. But the crowds will be vastly different.

From the sharp fades and slick streetwear of the orange army, to the corporate haircuts and dashing smart casual dress code that belongs to the Sydney Swans base.

The locals call it The 'TNs Vs RMs' Derby.

Who will win? The tastefully scuffed RM Williams dress boots of Paddington and Bondi, or the vibrant patterned Nike TNs that call this place home.
