Stefanovic Running Out Of Australian Podcast Guests Who Can Feed The Algorithm With Racial And Far-Right Grievances

Popular TV host turned podcast host Karl Stefanovic has today sat down with The Advocate to explain some of the challenges facing him in his new industry.

The pillar of the Today Show on Channel 9 said he's already starting to feel the pinch of booking guests.

This comes after the Karl Stefanovic show recently launched with a podcast featuring a true-blue Aussie voice who doesn't get any coverage or air time to tell the nation how it really is - Pauline Hanson.

Off the back of that Stefanovic then decided to sit down for some honest chats with other Aussie battlers who aren't afraid to speak the truth like Barnaby Joyce and Jacinta Nampijinpa Price.

While the soundbites have predictably hit the algorithm (which feeds off engagement - aka divisive content which causes people to interact by fighting in the comments or angrily sending to their niece), Karl says he's beginning to wonder how long he can keep the good times rolling.

"Mate, I'm gonna have to peel back on this two guests a week thing," said Stefanovic in an exclusive interview with The Advocate.

"I've ploughed through some of the nation's biggest noise merchants already," continued the man whose idea of 'unleashing the beast' and 'walking on the wild side' is apparently interviewing sports people and people significantly right of centre.

"I might have to just start trawling the comments section and pick up the loudest free thinking citizens in the comments."
