Open Mic Comedian Promises The Mildly Engaged Pub Crowd That He Won't Be Silenced By The Woke Left

An amateur stand up comedian who has been gigging for roughly three months, has tonight made a vow.

That is, that he will never give in to the powers that be.

Because according to Jeremy Gleary (22), his maverick style of irreverent and raw comedy is under attack.

These people that think his masterful blend of contrarian politics and shock factor humour is not funny, and should be banned.

As someone who is too young to remember sitcom television, and not old enough to have attended any of the 'cringe' festivals, Jeremy's most formative comedy experiences all took place in front of Youtube, watching videos of long form podcasts featuring American sports stars and different online personalities.

It's because of his worldiness that Jeremy can confidently say that his Australian contemporaries are soft. None of them 'get it'.

"Yeah... Even I have to, like, soften it for them" says Jeremy, in reference to the wider Australian comedy scene who seem to take issue with his bold material that seems to constantly revolve around child abuse, Adolf Hitler and one-liners that were popular in the 1990s rude joke books.

"I just know they want to cancel me so bad"

He knows that this kind of honest and raw social commentary has resulted in people 'talking shit behind his back' - but honestly, he doesn't give a fuck about that either, because freedom of speech is more important to him.
