Club Cricketer Finds No Issue With Asking Teammate He Barely Knows If He Can Borrow His Box

A local lower-grade club cricketer has ambitiously asked a teammate that he does not really know that well if he would consider sharing his plastic protector box to cover his crotch while batting.

The request was thrown out quite publicly to the back end of the batting order, as Sam (33) used his position of power as a number four batsmen to his younger team mate.

“Aaah shit. I forgot my box. Lenny, can I borrow yours”

Lenny (24) who has never hung around Sam socially and actually doesn’t know that many people in his new team was blown away by the entitlement shown by the fourth grade veteran and local powdercoater.

“Ahh. I don’t know mate” said Lenny.

“I’ve only got one pair of undies with me”

Sam responds by saying that it shouldn’t matter, because no one brings two pairs of undies with them at this level. Understandably, this doesn’t sit well with Lenny.

“So, what you are saying is you want to spend potentially half an hour is steaming hot weather with a piece of my own cricketing kit pushed against your penis and testicles, before I do the same thing shortly after?” asks Lenny.

“Yeah, basically” says Sam, who is beginning to act quite patronising and making facial expressions that suggest this isn’t a big deal and that Lenny is being soft.

Luckily, Kev, the recently bowled opener intervenes.

“What the fuck is wrong with you Sam”

“Why didn’t you ask me?”

Sam comes clean.

“Yours has been used already”
