As any newlywed or soon-to-be-wed knows, even the most intimate weddings can take years to plan.
In this day and age, being prepared isn’t just recommended, it’s a necessity - with venues, photographers, caterers requiring bookings at least a year in advance.
Thankfully, for 27-year-old Tina Abrams, being prepared isn’t a concern.
Tina has had her wedding organised since her mid twenties, down to the place card design. The only part she hasn’t organised is the man she’ll be marrying.
Tina’s friend group has grown concerned over how casually she’ll reference it.
“She always tells us the 8th of November is the perfect date for a wedding" Tina’s friend, Julia told our reporter.
"And she keeps implying that we should keep that date free every year. You know, in case she moves fast"
Another friend, Billie, says Tina is one of the rare bridesmaids who has no intention of always being a bridesmaid.
"There's no negativity about dating. She reckons that can come after the dress. By the way, I know what dress she plans on wearing."
"On November 8th... Not sure of the year yet, but she's thinking 2028, that way the mood will have lifted because Trump will have finished his second term"
"She says 2029 could also be a vibe. She's just worried that glitter confetti might be banned by then"
A Betoota reporter managed to score an interview with this modern day Muriel Heslop.
Tina argued the obsession was just manifestation, but is aware that friends are growing worried because they "place too much emphasis on the little jobs"
"Do you know how hard it is to secure an empty beach at 3pm?" she tells our reporter.
"It's a lot harder than securing some bloke to stand at the altar"
MORE TO COME.
