Rugby Australia’s new Marketing Pigeon stood on the shoulder of Wallabies Coach Michael Cheika during the half time break and delivered a stirring speech.
Mr Pigeon, who’s only been in the job a few weeks, flew and cooed his way into the dressing room and interrupted Cheika as he was spraying the boys.
“Coo!” cooed Pigeon.
David Pocock told everyone to pipe down and listen to the bird.
Pigeon cooed for nearly and minute. Nic White cried and Adam Ashley-Cooper provided caring back pats.
With that, the Wallabies all put their socks down, channeling the great socks down country boy Chris Latham and went back out through the tunnel.
More to come.
