One of Australia's biggest names is today preparing to light it up on one of the world's biggest stages.

After a big couple of months, young starlet Robert Irwin is getting ready to rip it up in front of the judges on Dancing With The Stars America.

Bypassing the Australian edition, the good looking young rooster from down under has moved straight into the big leagues, wowing viewers in the States with his dance partner Witney Carson.

And, with the Grand Finale rapidly approaching, young Bob has apparently decided to go all out.

"Yeah I wanted to put some Aussie flare on it, so I picked a unique routine," said Irwin in an exclusive sit down with The Betoota Advocate.

"Wit and I spoke about the Gabber with a strong muzz out section."

"But we thought the Nutbush is probably gonna be a bit more palatable to the American audience."

"And obviously I still know every single move from school."

"But they'll assume I've learnt this incredible niche dance for an American song especially for them."

"Because they are American and have no idea of any cultural traditions outside of their own country - like the fact Australia loves the nut-bush for some reason."

"Anyway, wish me luck."
