A universally liked Australian celebrity is today basking in the the glory of conquering the United States of America.
Robert Irwin has stunned both America and Australia this week by going all the way in the star spangled Dancing With The Stars.
The incredible win came after a 3 hour finale, where young Bob and his dance partner Witney Carson wowed judges and viewers as well as raising the eye brows of casual online news readers.
It's a stunning result for a young man from down under, who had pledged to roll out a quintessentially Australian Nut Bush dance.
Speaking exclusively to The Advocate after the the final votes came in, Irwin explained the somewhat surprising reason behind his march to victory.
"Yeah, I actually owe it all to the good people at O'Malley's in Mooloolaba," sighed Irwin.
"Vale to one of the greatest nightlife establishments in the state of Queensland and the nation of Australia."
"Getting a gutful of cheap house spirits and boogieing around to a Jason DeRulo club edit has set me up for success."
When asked whether it was true that he needed a case of Bundy and Cokes in the green room before every show, Irwin laughed.
More to come.
