In some truly shocking news, regional and rural Australians are once again feeling the pain of a national crisis.
While many around the country are of course battling under the strains of the fuel and cost of living crisis caused by some fuckheads on the other side of the world deciding to go to war, Aussies outside the major cities are really getting pinched.
Unsurprisingly, those in our regional areas are the first to be fucked by this current fuel crisis, with exorbitant prices being dangled in front of them, and the threat of supply chain shortfalls providing a nice stick behind them.
This comes as over 500 service stations around the country run out of fuel, with many of them in regional areas.
Of course most of it has been driven by panic buying as opposed to the fact we don't have enough fuel in the country, with fuel companies not exactly complaining about the shortages and their impact on prices.
While an outage in a metro centre means someone can just drive to the next joint a kilometre down the road, for those out of the cities it can be a 40 or 50k round trip, which comes with a nice little fuel cost for the extra clicks.
Thankfully the 'party of the bush', the Nationals, are jumping up and down about the crisis, despite the fact they were in government when 5 out of Australia's 6 petrol refineries shut down this century.
That carry on in parliament comes as some welcome news for the regions, with tangible results expected to prevent the people of the bush being fucked over once again by our corporations and government - similar to the improved conditions on things like groceries and services.
More to come.
