Sophie Heffernan (34) has returned from what was meant to be a relaxing stay with her parents at their cattle property on the outskirts of Betoota with an inexplicable air of rage about her.

The sudden personality shift was first noticed by her cousin who merely suggested that the new superannuation changes affecting 0.5% of wealthy Australians might not be such a bad idea.

“Called me a woke labor voter and said that I clearly didn’t care about the families who would lose their farms.”

“I don’t know what happened to her, when she left on Friday she was completely normal. Then after 3 days at her folks’ place she was ranting about hideous wind farms, paternity leave, and death taxes.”

It’s believed that Sophie, who friends previously described as calm and apolitical, is suffering from what experts are coining a Skybotomy; the sudden radicalisation of a person who is subjected to more than 24 hours of the Sky News channel.

It’s not yet known if the radicalisation is permanent or if she can be reintegrated, but the experts suggest giving her a wide berth until the vein in her forehead subsides.
