Opposition leader Peter Dutton has today taken another swipe at Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, this time suggesting that he’d never fall over like ‘limp ankled Albo, who took a bit of a stack at a campaign event for May’s national election last night.
Though Albanese has since come forward to insist that he didn’t fall, he simply ‘stepped back on a step’, Dutton has quickly seized upon what he believes is yet another example of Albo being weak – taking to his Facebook profile within minutes of hearing about the incident.
This comes just one week after calling Albanese ‘limp wristed’, for his response to the Chinese navy conducting live fire drills in Australian waters.
“Unlike limp ankled Albo, I would never have a fall. Because to get Australia back on track, you need to keep moving forward”, wrote Dutton, accompanied with a photo of Albanese mid fall, “if he can’t even walk in a straight line properly, how do you expect him to lead a country?”
More to come.
