An angry man that appears to have very much enjoyed the wealth and opportunity that is afforded to Australian citizens, is today refraining from talking about how shit this country is.
Prominent social media foghorn, Chris Dense (34) - or CommonSenseChris as he's known in the men's mental health awareness circles - has spent the last month plastering social media with his outspoken criticisms of Australia.
There are many things that Chris says make him ashamed to be Australian, including the fairly standard personal income tax he has to pay the government, which prevents him from upgrading the $100,000 off-road vehicle that he often films videos inside of.
He also claims to hate 'red tape' and 'censorship' - although his social media rants seem to indicate that he's unable to define what these two things are - and how they negatively or positively effect him.
He also doesn't seem to have a very broad understanding of Westminster political system, or the extreme libertarian brand of politics that the algorithm rewards him for spruiking online, every day.
But today he's taking a break from all that. Because this is the one day of the year where he's proud to be from Australia.
Because it's January 26th. And that means it's time for the Ford Raptor owners of outer-metropolitan suburbia to put aside their grievances with immigrants they've never met, and their disgust with a country that seems to treat them quite well.
As far as the calendar goes, Australia Day - as it has been known since the 1990s - is a national public holiday for citizens to take a moment and be grateful that they make up the 0.33% the world's population that get to be Australian.
While this date symbolises something entirely entirely different for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, for obvious reasons, Chris refuses to bow to the woke elites that tell him to save his performative patriotism for literally any other day of the year.
As someone who declares himself to be an unashamed Aussie patriot, it's unclear why CommonSenseChris only seems to voice his love for this country on the one day of the year where it might hurt people's feelings.
Because, while this country might be a gutless nanny-state full of pussies for 364 days of the year, today it's the best country in the world.
