As the nation prepares for its favourite annual music countdown, early reports are that there's a strong favourite.
With Triple J's Hottest 100 upon us once again, emerging British music queen Olivia Dean has been widely tipped to take top spot in the countdown.
Those reports emerge after 2 million people around the country and the world cast their votes.
Keli Holiday's 'Dancing Too', Playlunch's 'Keith' and Tame Impala's 'Dracula' have also been floated as top picks, however Olivia is believed to be a very very strong favourite.
If she manages to hold on and cross the line first, she'll be the first unanimously liked Number 1 since Gotye and Kimbra dropped the generational tune 'Somebody That I Used To Know.'
"It's significant," said Betoota 96.8 FM music expert Albie Hergerson.
"Really really big."
"We don't see universal love for an artist like this very often."
"I think even the metal and hip hop heads can appreciate Olivia Dean, because they know their favourite acts aren't gonna take top spot."
"So they are often happy to acknowledge an artist like Olivia, who is pretty hard to dislike."
"Certainly won't be having a Doja Cat or a Macklemore situation this year."
More to come.
