In some heartbreaking news that’s bound to forever change the trajectory of your friendship, a mate who usually agrees with everything you say is now calling you out for acting like a dickhead.

After doing something you know, deep down, was a bit cooked, you figured reaching out to the one person who always blindly supports you would help you feel better.

You don’t want to feel guilty, or – god forbid -self-reflect. That’s gross! That’s why this mate has always been the perfect ally. They never call you out on your bullshit, and no matter what you do, there’s always an excuse… right?

You’ve been stressed at work! Your ex was mean! Your parents could have been nicer to you!

If you unravel the thread far enough, there’s always something that can explain poor behaviour  – well, only if it’s you doing it, not the other person (then they’re a fuckwit).

But this time, not only has your friend not blindly agreed with you, but they also look a little horrified. Disgusted, even.
