A local woman has surprised her long term partner today, by suggesting they get around a new sports show.
The famously sports-agnostic Ashley Kelly from Betoota Heights shocked her partner Tom a short time ago by proposing they watch the new Rexona Rivals.
Despite having no interest whatsoever in team sport or a night out to watch a game of footy she doesn’t really care about the result for, Kelly says she’s kind of torn between which team she’s rooting for in Rivals.
“I mean Joseph or Reece?” laughed Kelly, pulling up photos of the pair of young hotshots competing against each other in the quest to finally settle the debate about Australia’s greatest winter code.
“It’s a really tough decision to pick between the pair,” continued Kelly, who normally laughs at her silly boyfriend whenever he gets stuck debating the merits of League and Union with his mates after 6 schooners.
“I’ve only just gotten over what Joseph did to my Reece in Origin a couple of years ago..”
“And then you chuck in Will Ashcroft, and goodness, we really are talking some young HOTshots aren’t we,” laughed Kelly.
“Look I think we can all agree it’s got something for everyone in it.” said Tom.
“Not sure why she’s not getting around Big Bad Harry Wilson though…”
“Anyway, pains me to say it, but I fear the filthy Victorian Leg Tennis exponents might win it all.”
More to come.
