In some exciting news for people who like to party in Sydney, the famous institution of World Bar is set to re-open.

This comes after the NSW Government revealed it is wrapping up the last remnants of the famous Lockout Laws.

Under the new changes, the  final major lockout conditions will be repealed, including the 3:30am 'last drinks' rule.

Given those changes, after 12 years of turning the Cross into a property owners playground and fragmenting a generation of revellers and parties - the Cross is expected to roar back to life.

In celebration of that new era that definitely won't be affected by noise complaints and cost of living, the famous venue that was World Bar is springing back into action.

To bring in the new age, World Bar has announced an explosive Wednesday night launch next week, featuring a DJ set from young and upcoming artist Flume and 20 dollar teapots.

That's set tongues wagging, with the tantalizing offer of 20 dollar highly alcoholic sugar cocktail mixes in a teapot, nearly to good to be true.

"In this economy," said one reveller today.

"Take my money."

"I'm getting sideways until the early hours.

More to come.
