In heartbreaking news that’s sent shockwaves across the nation, Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman have announced their separation after nineteen years of marriage – which is roughly the equivalent of seventy years in Hollywood time.

According to TMZ, who first broke the story, the country star and Academy Award-winning actress are said to have been living apart for several months.

The pair first met in 2005 at the G’Day LA gala and began dating shortly after.

While little has been revealed about the cause of the split, an insider claims the couple have been busy dividing their most prized possessions.

Over the years, Urban and Kidman are said to have amassed an enviable hair care collection worth over $2 million AUD.

Luckily, sources say most of it has been settled amicably as Urban has stuck with the same hairstyle for two decades, while Kidman has long leaned on wigs for her various TV roles.

But there is reportedly one point of contention the couple still can’t resolve – custody of their beloved GHD hair straighteners.
