NBN Contractor Takes Flexi Friday And Enjoys 5th Day This Week Doing Fuck All

Leon Braithwaite has confirmed today that he is on a pretty good wicket.

The 32-year-old father of two and NBN Field Technician spoke to us from his couch earlier today.

Enjoying another ‘Flexi Friday,’ Braithwaite admitted that life isn’t too bad.

Braithwaite explained that like council employee’s, people in the public sector and anyone lucky enough to land a gig with flexible working hours, he enjoys a couple of Fridays off every month.

“Yep, after a long week of doing fuck all, it’s nice to be able to put the feet up,” he said.

“Until the kids get home and take the TV back off me I guess. But yeah, flexi’s aren’t bad. Good to just get a break from standing around holes and driving around all day.”

Braithwaite told us he does take flexi’s to do some life admin, like shopping and bits and pieces around the house, but this week was a big one, so he just wanted to kick back.

“It was a big week. It’s like they always say, trying to look like busy is actually more tiring than being busy, you know.”

“I’ll have to do that again when Fiona (his wife) gets home so I’m just lapping up a few hours of peace for now.”
