British soul-pop singer, Olivia Dean tours Australia this week with her sold out show, giving straight couples a reason to post on their Instagram stories again.
The “Man I Need” singer has managed to successfully target both straight women and straight men, making her recent album the perfect wedding soundtrack or background music for boyfriend/girlfriend missionary.
After introducing a lot of Australians to her music during Laneway 2025, many boyfriends actually thought the singer’s music was quite good.
Local boyfriend, Trey Tyler doesn’t mind a bit of a boogie to “Nice To Each Other.”
“I mainly went to Laneway for Bicep but then my g-f made me go hell early to see Olivia Dean and it lowkey popped off” Trey told the Advocate.
“She’s great for a step touch” he added
Trey and his girlfriend, Audrey, managed to catch Olivia again last year in Sydney where they swayed to her moving and soulful lyrics, with her standing in front of him and his hands perched on her shoulders. Trey and Audrey both agreed it was one of the best nights of their life.
“Her songs will definitely feature in our future wedding, maybe So Easy (To Fall In Love) for walking down the aisle?” Trey’s girlfriend, Audrey said excitedly.
“We’re both so excited to see her next week too, I really hope she does Rein Me In!”
The Betoota Advocate would like to warn any single readers that an influx of straight people PDA will be prevalent on the streets of our main cities as well as Instagram stories, so stay inside and off phone if necessary because this will be possibly more lovey dovey than the Leon Bridges tour.
