Nation's Blokes Urged To Check In On 'That Mate' After Pornhub Ban Comes Into Effect

Men around the country have today been urged to reach out and check in on their mates, after a significant change to the digital landscape.

The national calls to touch base come after giant online pornography provider Pornhub shut down its Australian operations over the weekend.

The move comes as a protest against the new age-verification laws, with videos hooked from the website and registrations blocked for people from Australia.

The stunning play for the significant percentage of some mate's screen time, has left many people at a bit of a loose end.

And Brent Bryson, a local Mental Health Advocate from South Betoota Polytechnic University says the huge change could have even bigger flow on effects.

"Yeah, we've all got that mate who is jorkin's the gorkin a little too much," said Bryson.

"Who refers to his favourite ladies of the internet by the first name, and follows them on Instagram."

"Who's borderline about to attend one of those weird porn expos they have every year."

"So just check in on him today, because he is gonna be really going through it with the recent news."

"I'm sure he'll find solutions to his problems, whether it be OF or X or whatever."

"But this weekend will have been a rude shock."

"So just reach out and get around him."

More to come.
