Nan Unnecessarily Estimates The Weight Of Random Woman During Anecdote

A local Betoota grandmother has reminded her granddaughter that she has no awareness of cancel culture, as she guessed the weight of her new doctor while telling an anecdote yesterday morning.

Melissa Waldof was having her fortnightly call with her 85 year old Nan, Pat Waldof when the incident occurred.

“I love talking to Nan, especially when I’m on a walk or waiting for the bus, it’s kind of like listening to a podcast except it’s just silly gossip about your distant family. She mainly talks at me, I don’t mind honestly” Melissa told our reporter.

Pat was excited to share a story about a melanoma her new doctor, Dr. Malleen, found on her upper breast.

“Now the doctor that found the miscoloured mole was Dr. Malleen, she was a big woman, not concerningly large but a woman that wouldn’t skip a dessert. I had to expose my breast for her to spot the mole but once she found it, she knew exactly what it was” Pat shared with her granddaughter Melissa.

Melissa was unsure of the relevance of Dr Malleen’s size but assumed her Nan just wanted to paint a picture for her rather than her just being fatphobic.

As the anecdote continued, Melissa spotted a couple other unnecessary facts.

“She mentioned the receptionist was a muslim lady and that a man in the waiting room could definitely have been one of those gays or at least a bisexual.”

“Like what, I don’t care what these people are, just tell me if you got the cancer cut out or not!?” Melissa explained.

When our reporter asked Melissa if she would ever call out her Nan on the issue, Melissa shook her head.

“Honestly, it makes family dinners much more entertaining, sometimes me and the cousins keep a tally going.”

More to come.
