The state of Victoria has been hit by a 5.8 magnitude earthquake, that has left buildings damaged and its residents rattled.

The tectonic event comes after an endless series of lockdowns, culminating in thousands of protestors storming through the city yesterday, in protest of the government’s 2-week construction ban and mandatory jab policies.

Thankfully, there have been no reported injuries as a result of this natural event.

The epicentre of the quake is believed to be in the Mansfield region, with Geosciences Australia reporting that your mother fell over at around 9:15 am this morning.

“Unfortunately, your mumma fell over in the Alpine National Park this morning, causing an earthquake,” they explained.

“Must have been doing her morning walk or something,” he laughed.

“She’s fine, but it’s just shaken Victorian, Canberra and Tassie is all.”

“Hopefully all those tradies can get back on the tools and try and fix the damage she’s done.”
