A health and wellbeing matcha girl has been left absolutely horrified by her partner’s version of the green morning drink.

The incident unfolded earlier this week when Hannah Heartly (32) set out for her usual iced matcha tea on one of the rare mornings her tradie boyfriend had the day off and could join her ritual.

Moments after leaving the café, Hannah heard the unmistakable sound of slurping beside her.

What she saw made her stomach drop.

The love of her life was chugging a half-litre can of V Energy like it was his first contact with liquid in 72 hours.

Despite giving her partner a look of sheer horror, Hannah was met with an extremely nonchalant “hey, what’s up?” from him.

What made things go from bad to worse was his admission that this is how he’s started every morning since he was 16.

Hannah later admitted that she felt “physically ill” watching the fluorescent green liquid disappear before 9am.

She said it completely shattered the wellness aesthetic she had spent years carefully curating online.

“How can I continue to strive for perfect wellness when my other half voluntarily poisons himself every single morning” she explained.

The incident has reportedly prompted Hannah to “rethink everything” including whether the relationship can survive such a fundamental lifestyle clash.

Meanwhile, her boyfriend has since confirmed he “doesn’t get what the big deal is” and plans to keep drinking V because it tastes good.
