A man waking from a big Thursday night wandered the streets of the French Quarter this morning, nervous because he didn’t know where he was.

“I thought I was in Betoota Ponds, all the street signs were in Betootanese Creole,” he said.

Our reporter ran into him in Des Jardin du Putain this morning where our reporter was walking his Labrador.

“But thank God, I mean, it’s pretty rough in the part of town but as soon as I saw this lady walking a dachshund, I knew I was safe,” he said.

“Like if it was one of those American Bulldog things, I would’ve freaked out a bit,”

“I’m so hungover man. Where am I? Is this the French Quarter?”

More to come.
