A local white-collar corporate is planning to bring the ruckus next year, as he splashes out for premium Wu Tang Clan tickets.

Despite being a 38-year-old white guy whose family lineage is as white as a rack of Bakers Delight breads, Industrial Equities Analyst Henry Kidman is a “huge fan of the Wu”, it can be reported.

Even though he grew up in the leafy suburbs of Betoota Grove, and attended Betoota Boys Grammar, Henry says there were times during his affluent suburban upbringing, when early Wu Tang adjacent albums like GZA’s ‘Liquid Swords’ and Ghostface Killah’s ‘Supreme Clientele’, really helped him get through private school.

And so, with news that Wu Tang are bringing their Final Chamber tour to Australia, for one last lap of three east coast cities, Henry says he’s going to splash some cash and make it a proper send off.

“Wu Tang are dope man, they’re more than a band, they’re a legacy…” Henry told The Advocate, as he jammed his black Amex credit card details into Ticketek this morning, and bought some VIP seats to the Brisbane Entertainment Centre.

“They’re my favourite group to listen to, especially when I need to bite down and pump out some spreadsheet reports before lunch.”

Given he takes home a cool $180k a year plus bonuses, Henry’s not afraid to spend the big bucks on premium seats tickets, and also get himself a cute little outfit for the shows.

“I might get myself a new Yankees cap and some new “kicks” too. I feel like a new pair of Panda Dunks could be on the cards, I don’t care what they cost, cash rules everything around me brutha!”

More to come.
