A Melbourne man who was diagnosed with ADHD way before it was cool is bucking the cost of living trend by producing a healthy passive income selling individual dexamphetamines for $5 a pop.

Turner, who as a child was easily distracted, hated doing his homework and was known to yell out pretty funny shit at inappropriate times during class, was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 8.

It can also be reported that in his early teens Turner was the fastest kid in his school and was achieving some of the most sophisticated trampoline flips.

Now, at 20 years old and on the cusp of completing his electrical apprenticeship Turner has more or less grown out of his childhood ADHD. However, he still engages in high risk behaviour such as doing burnouts with his mates on occasion.

Life on apprenticeship wages can be difficult. To alleviate some financial stress Turner has channeled his entrepreneurial spirit that was completely lacking in year 9 business studies to produce some excess capital.

“A bottle of 100 is like 15 bucks. I barely need them anymore because the hard work of trade life has provided me stability and an outlet to channel my hyperactive behaviour into.”

“I sell them to my High School mates who ended up going to uni for $5 a dexy. I guess they’re pretty stressed with exams and shit and need them to focus. I haven’t done an exam since I was 15 but I’m still happy to help them out.”

Unfortunately for Mr Turner’s university friends, a diagnosis isn’t so simple.

“Everyones tryna get diagnosed these days but it’s super spenny as an adult, I’m glad Mum realised there was something wrong with me when I was kid, it’s worked out pretty well for me.”
