Right around the English-speaking world, women are considering giving the bath a whirl, after a recent cultural moment appears to have gotten them all in “the mood.”

One local renter from Betoota's gentrified but decaying French Quarter says she is certainly no exception.

Jessica (24) says she finally got around to the fourth season of the girlie period drama, after her friends kept hinting at a certain scene which may be the sexiest thing since the gays got stuck into it in Heated Rivalry.

While watching on her laptop to avoid the judgemental eyes / awkward conversations with her male housemates, Jessica was prepared for the usual orchestral pop song and Victorian era lingerie.

She got a fair bit more than that.

“I had to physically stand to watch it. I imagine that’s how men feel when they watch the last minute of a sports game or whatever."

"It was quite, um, tantalizing. I haven't been able to look at the bath the same way since"

And luckily for Jessica, she resides in a late 1800s terrace house in the dodgier side of Betoota's inner-city late belt.

“Our bathroom definitely got a reno, maybe in the 40s? The bath looks like it’s survived at least one war.”

Several nights after the screening when Jessica’s three housemates were out, she decided she to jump in.

“The immediate brown water that came out the tap was a bit frightening, but once that went clear, I turned up the string version of DJ Got Us Fallin’ and hopped right in.”

“It would have been nicer with a romantic partner but honestly there wasn't the room. Plus I don't trust the legs on this thing. It hadn't taken full weight in a while and another body could've blown through the rest"

When asked if Jessica would make the bath a more frequent occurrence, unlike her bathwater, she was very clear.

“Definitely not, the fungal infection I had for the next few weeks definitely wasn’t worth it."

"I spose that makes the whole experience more authentic. How eighteen hundreds of me"
