A local carpenter has copped some weird glances this week, after the shift to warmer weather saw him finally saw his ghostly white feet get some vitamin D.
Having spent the past decade working long hours under the harsh Aussie sun in a pair of blundstones and long socks, Sidney Ellis’s legs now give off the illusion that he’s still wearing them.
A sight that has both fascinated and horrified his non-tradie mates, and his long suffering girlfriend who’s now begging him to please do some isolation tanning on his feet.
What’s worse, is that Sidney also has the classic T shirt tan, leading his body to become an assortment of sunburnt pink, brown and white – known as the Neapolitan ice cream tan.
His girlfriend Vera says she’s begged him to please even the tan or at least let her stick some Bondi Sands on them.
“His body looks like he’s multiple races but he’s got the feet of a corpse”, says Vera, who gets seriously icked out whenever she sees them, “the tan line is really clean too.”
Sidney, however, finds his sock tan hilarious, and has no plans of evening it out anytime soon.
In fact, he wants it to be even stronger.
“Now that I know she hates them, I’m going to make them even worse.”
More to come.
