Things have escalated quickly in a Betoota Heights home following a key household item reportedly going missing.
The item in question is the primary lounge room’s TV remote, and with the sports section of the nightly news fast approaching, tensions are beginning to rise.
Greg Fuller allegedly called the residence members, who are also his wife, Stacy, and two daughters, Laura and Grace, together for an in-depth investigation as to the remote’s whereabouts.
“No one is leaving here until we get to the bottom of this," Fuller’s family claims he said.
“The sport’s on in 10 minutes, and I will be watching it.”
The man then launched into a line of intense questioning, targeting his ‘hostages’ and pressing for an answer, mindful that time was running out.
“Did you move the cushions?”
“When was the last time you guys had it?”
Unfortunately, the family’s defence of “we don’t know” was not well received by the tyrant, who spiralled into a frenzy of frantically lifting up blankets and even poking around the kitchen.
“So it just disappears, does it?” he continued.
“The remote just grows wings and flies away?”
“I just want the truth guys, don’t lie to me.”
After multiple rounds of interrogation, Fuller’s youngest, Grace, eventually admitted to watching Netflix this morning, where she apparently had the remote 'in the armchair', prompting a rapid and vigorous search of the chair and its surrounding area.
However, after the initial inspection turned up zero results, the 47-year-old became untethered.
“Someone in this room knows where it is.”
“I’m not stupid.”
More to come.
