Never before has it appeared more likely that the Liberal Party of Australia will not live to see another term.

With the Labor Government running wild with the confidence to enact major and unprecedented changes to Australian tax law, those who once relied on the representation of a decent centre-right party are now begging an assortment of Independents to please formalise an alliance that could maybe look like a Federal Opposition.

This follows the 2025 Federal Election, which saw the Coalition lose the last of their urban strongholds to 'teal' Independents and Labor MPs who look and talk like Liberals used to.

Labor also appears to have an unfair advantage in electorates with high concentrations of university educated voters and multicultural communities, this is because they have a membership base who doesn't see any problem with pre-selecting candidates who actually look the average suburban Australian - i.e people who are women and immigrants.

Meanwhile, even the far-right brainrot faction of the Coalition is on an increasingly unstable footing - as the social media algorithms and Sky News outrage machine redirects their voters toward One Nation.

This is believed to be of far greater concern to the Liberal Party apparatus than the fact that they have lost all of their affluent blue-ribbon seats to independent MPs.

In fact, it appears that the general consensus within the Coalition is that they need to do more to combat One Nation with even more inflammatory and populist culture wars.

It is for this reason that the membership is starting to think the mild-mannered and highly educated Angus Taylor is not up to the job.

Neither is is treasurer Tim Wilson, a gay man who only won his seat back from a Teal opponent by 124 votes after four recounts.

Let's not forget the Deputy leader, Jane Hume, who isn't even a lower house MP - and is also a woman.

It goes without saying that the only woman that anyone in the Liberal Party will ever take seriously is former Prime Minister's chief of staff turned Murdoch commentator, Peta Credlin.

And now with the branch membership made up of predominantly elderly post-war men who have made millions from property investments and watch Sky News for 10 hours a day, Labor's new budget has triggered an existential panic within the ranks.

It's time to go back to what worked. Back when the Liberal Party reigned supreme. Back before the woke left infiltrated their party.

Tony Abbott's already back as the Party president. They just need to recruit Scotty and Dutton and they can get the whole gang back together.

No more Net Zero. No more tax reform. Back to the old system that worked perfectly well.

It's time for a remake of Peta's Angels: Full Throttle.
