Hordes of Knights fans are this week looking to move forward, after a heart breaking loss to the Sydney Roosters.
With the community coming to together to celebrate the incredible season back in the Hunter on Monday, and a couple of very slow days to kick off the short week, many Knights fans are now keen to put the next foot forward.
While the boys themselves will be off to Bali when they finally wrap up their Mad Tuesday/Wednesday - Knights fans are instead heading south.
"Yeah after a pretty full on few weeks, it's time for a bit of R&R and some self care," said Maitland Hunter (29) to The Advocate a short time ago.
"So I'm heading down to Bathurst for the Supercars."
"Call it Hunter Healing, Maitland Mindfulness, Braxton Breathwork or whatever you want."
"But the sound of 650 horsepower V8s whipping around the mountain is just about the only thing that can heal me right now."
"I really hope it wasn't, but that might have been our one shot," he mused in regards to the stirring loss on Sunday.
"And that's going to weigh over all our heads for some time."
"So it will be nice to distract myself from that with 90-130 decibels of pure torque and a couple of White Eggs (Jim Beam and coke)."
More to come.
