Jetstar Under Fire For Urging Customers To Poo Before They Fly To Help With Weight Distribution

Jetstar have found themselves in the news again today, after customers boarding the Tuesday 9:50am flight from Hobart to Melbourne were reportedly asked by staff if they needed to ‘do a poo?’, and if so, could they please do one before getting on the plane.

James Goode, 46, who was one of the travellers on board that flight, says that Jetstar staff members could be heard telling everyone lining up to do a final trip to the bathroom, as there had been a ‘miscalculation’ with the luggage weight distribution i.e. we overbooked.

“I thought it was a joke at first but they were very insistent about it”, says James, “even included another reminder in the final boarding call.”

James says the staff were so serious about the matter, that they even charged a passenger for an extra kilogram, after he joked about ‘being constipated.’

“Yeah I’m not flying with this flying airline again, that’s for sure.”

“Next time I’m choosing that one named after a dog.”

More to come.
