51-year-old emo rock band frontman, Jared Leto has once again made headlines around the world for his most recent kooky costume at the annual New York Met Gala.

His most recent outift is an extravagant cat costume.

One that has not yet convinced the public to stop associating him with the Suicide Squad’s iteration of The Joker.

This year’s Met Gala theme was honouring the late legendary designer, Karl Lagerfeld.

Jared Leto (who will reportedly play Lagerfeld in yet another upcoming biopic) arrived on the the 2023 Met Gala red carpet while dressed in a life-size cat costume that pays homage to Choupette – Lagerfeld’s cat.

The furry look seemed to confuse some spectators—that is, until Leto removed the large cat head to reveal his identity. Shocking the audiences, but not enough to make us forget that he tried to outdo the late Heath Ledger by playing ‘The Joker’ a decade after the Western Australian’s posthumous Oscar winning performance.

Leto is also alleged to have engaged lawyers to prevent Joaquin Phoenix’s version of the Joker from happening.

The cat costume follows the severed head costume, which followed the metal spikey dress costume.

We still remember.
