In some sad news for recreational and problem gamblers, Mariah Carey’s Annual smash hit ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You, has been banned from all Crown venues.

Like a successful NBA athlete of African-American heritage, the popular Christmas song has been barred from entering the Crown Casino.

The move comes however not as the manifestation of hiring racist security guards in Melbourne, but because the big boss James Packer still hasn’t quite forgotten about his romance with the American superstar.

The son of Kerry Packer dated the wildly popular singer for 18 months a couple of years ago before calling their engagement off.

That split has caused the media and gambling mogul to issue a statement banning any of Mariah’s original or updated versions of the 1994 song that is nearing the top of the pops once again from playing in his venues.

Refusing to speak to The Advocate himself, Packer’s PA informed us that ‘the song still carries strong emotions and given she doesn’t want him for Christmas, and she once did, he doesn’t want to walk into one of his venues and hear those powerful words come on.’

“Not even through a shitty Michael Bublé or Fifth Harmony cover.”
