Jack Della Maddalena Unwinds After A Big Week By Smoking A Few Cones Up On Zig Zag Hill

The nation’s new Prince of Punching On is today taking some time to unwind and smell the roses.

New UFC champion Giacomo ‘Jack’ Della Maddalena is doing so by heading up to the top of Zig Zag hill on the outskirts of Perth to punch a few cones with a couple of the boys, and watch the world go by.

The cause for relaxation follows JDM’s sensational victory in Canada, where he became just the third Australian to win a UFC title.

JDM defeated American Belal Muhammad in the headline fight, with a blockbuster against Islam Makhachev set for later in the year.

However, while many hypothesise about the next fight and a potential lengthy stint at the top of the game, the Perth boy is just taking a bit of time to unwind after a big few weeks.

“Yeah, probs gonna swing back through Maccas and get a McFlurry on the way home,” laughed JDM, after ripping a hot one from the gatorade sax his mate made earlier today.

“Body’s still pretty sore man, so good to just take it easy and re-fuel.”

“Might have a run around with the Southern Lions reggies this week though.”

“But for now, yeah just chilling.”

“Gonna head back into town, family’s cooking a proper feed.”
