“Nah It’s Not Heavy, I Just Need To Get A Better Grip’’ Says Bloke Very Clearly Struggling To Pick Up Furniture

A bloke picking up a couch has had to assure the owner that he has no issues handling it himself, despite being unable to move it more than half a metre before needing a break.

Spotting a lovely two seater couch on Facebook Marketplace for a steal of a price, Matthew Derby, 32, may have been a little bit too ambitious when he decided it was a one man job – resulting in the very concerned elderly woman selling it to enquire if she should call her husband.

“Nah nah, it’s all good, I just need to find the right grip”, Matthew had assured, before letting out a deep guttural moan as he attempted to lift it again, “it’s just a bit awkward at this angle.”

It’s alleged Michael was able to finally move the couch from the first floor apartment after roughly an hour of struggling, before spending another hour trying to get it onto the tray of his rented ute.

More to come.
