One delusional ActronAir account manager has today made the ambitious claim that rugby league is coming home.

He’s just one of thousands of central-western Sydney footy fans who believe that this is their year, after suffering for so very bloody long.

Local police have reported in a large spike in juvenile graffiti vandalism across the area, with some grown adults even being found spraypainting “it’s coming home” on parked cars and bus stops across the city-within-a-city

This comes as the Eels christened the brand spanking Parramatta Stadium with a 51-6 NRL humiliation of the Wests Tigers.

The Eels were dominant from start to finish, running in nine tries to one in front of a 29,047-strong crowd as they jumped into fifth spot, led by the Mitchell “The Lightning Leb” Moses – who parted a sea of frightened tigers to put 19 on the board alone.
