Last Friday, in a pub in Betoota’s French Quarter, a group of young corporate women were doing the rounds of polite conversation on each other’s working weeks when single 26 year old Rebecca Wallace shared a story about the new lawyer that started at her work.
Before she could get to the crux of the story, Rebecca’s friend Tiffany aggressively interrupted to ask if the new lawyer was “hot?”
Tiffany pleaded that she simply “needed a visual.”
Despite the relevance of the question, it seemed that Tiffany was speaking the interests of the majority. The girls' happy hour savvy b’s kicked in and Rebecca’s boring weekly wrap up actually became interesting. Before Rebecca could comment on the attractiveness of her new coworker, more questions came piling in.
“Is he hot hot or ugly hot?”
“Is he giving dilf or nah?”
“He wasn’t wearing one of those silly wigs was he?”
What started out as an innocent story amongst friends turned into an elaborate plan of how Rebecca was going to marry and have children with the new lawyer.
But after minutes of begging for the man’s Instagram or at least, his Linkedin, the excitement came to a halt. Rebecca had to break that he didn’t have any social media as he was a 65 year old balding white guy who spent the entirety of their conversation staring at her breasts.
No more to come.
