If Local Woman Can't Handle Hubby At His Empty Joint Savings Account She Doesn't Deserve Him At His 13-Leg NBA Multi Win

A local man who said he's constantly harangued by his domestic life partner for gambling "their" money as come to his own defence today as he looks to pull of one of the all-time greatest multi-wins of his career.

Today, somewhere in America, the LA Lakers and playing the Miami Heat and Sam McDonald has a 13-leg multi on the game that he says will lift out of his own personal hell.

The 34-year-old city worker is in hell because with Melbourne Cup on the horizon, he dipped into the joint savings account to "build up" a bit of a kitty to play with during the day, and indeed the race, that stops a nation.

However, it did not go to plan.

"Yeah, I lost a lot of it yesterday actually. I just can't help myself sometimes [laughs] but it's not like my gambling is out of control. Like, I see what Sally spends at Mecca. I see how much her hair costs. It's absurd. And so frequent. So, it's lot like she's without sin and casting stones at me," he said.

Sam's live-in girlfriend, Sally Betts, told The Advocate that it feels like there's no getting through to him.

"Other than leave and cut my losses, I'm not sure what else do to," she said.

"They just make it so easy. Like, he's got my Amex out of my purse in the past and just thumbed a grand from it no worries. He BPay'd it back the next week but the fact you can do that, chills my blood,"

"It's not like he's a bad bloke, he's just under the control of Gamblor, like Marge Simpson was. I just need to make sure my money is insulated from him. Is that toxic? My old man, if he knew what he was doing, they'd have to call the cops to get him off him. Seriously. Sometimes, I just wish I lived on an island of women where men just came over on a boat once a week for drinks and dinner and then fucked off again in the morning. My life would be that much better. Anyway."

Sam remains optimistic regarding the NBA multi.

"She will forget everything when this comes off. I'll have $200,000 in my account," he said.

"If she can't handle me at my empty joint account, she certainly doesn't deserve me at my 13-leg NBA multi win."
