A local man from Betoota Heights has this week found himself pondering a career change.
Aaron Higgins (34) says he mulled over the quandary when watching a little bit of the Winter Olympics in Milano-Cortina.
"I actually reckon I could do that," said Higgins, who actually probably could.
"Like yeah the speed skating and the ski jumps and shit's pretty crazy," he laughed.
"And I'm definitely not gonna put my hand up to say I have the quads for some cross country skiing."
"But this biathlon shit, I reckon I could," continued Higgins who watched the last burst of the event with 9.5k's of skiing already under the belt.
"Look, they just ski in and then shoot at a target."
The veteran of 3 Japan ski trips says he genuinely could just roll in and pop a few shots off.
"Mate, I grew up in the country, easy as," said the man watching people physically pass out after finishing the event.
"Some of these events are real head-scratchers."
"Entertaining though."
