11-year-old Stefani Bozovic has caused great excitement for Tennis Australia today, after scouts finally learnt her last name.

After dominating at both state and regional levels, Stefani was has only just become famous enough for people to refer to her by her last name.

As that last name ends in a ‘ic’.

With only very few coaches and administrators ever meeting her parents, it is not yet known how involved, and just how slavic they are.

Regardless, with the current woes faced by Tennis Australia for both the mens and womens, the last name is very encouraging.

As has been proven in both American, English and Australian tennis circles, a good strong Slavic name is key to a tennis prodigy. That or Greek.

“Hell yes” says local scout, Patrick Llleyton McCourt.
