Former prime minister Uncle Tony X is reportedly already reaching out to different Indigenous employment services after independent Zali Steggall defeated him in his Sydney electorate of Warringah.

ABC chief election analyst Antony Green has called the seat for Ms Steggall less than two hours after polls closed – spelling the end of a lengthy political career for the respect Northern Beaches community elder.

With more than 18 per cent of the ballots counted, Ms Steggall’s primary vote was 45.2 per cent — enough for her to claim a comfortable victory over the Special Envoy to Indigenous Affairs.

Speaking to the media from his family’s humble three-story rendered brick McMansion, The Outgoing Member For Warringah says the enormous swing against him is purely a result of racist right-wingers trying to keep a proud black man down.

“It’s the same as what happened to Israel Folau” said Uncle Tony.

“These white dogs only voted for Zali because she’s a migaloo. I should have never accepted that envoy role”

“Now they have ruined their two favourite things. The Wallabies and the Liberal Party”

Despite being voted out, Uncle Tony X has maintained he will continue his work in the role of government Special Envoy to Indigenous Affairs.

“You ain’t seen the last of me yet”
