Presumptuous Woman Gets Manicure Before Going On Highly Instagrammable Holiday With Boyfriend

As if pre-holiday organising wasn’t already stressful enough, Rochelle Lucas took things into overdrive for herself this afternoon after deciding it was imperative for her to get a manicure before the private, coastal getaway her and her boyfriend are going on tomorrow.

Rochelle (31) and boyfriend Damien (Damo) have been together for over 6 years now, so there’s a certain question that Rochelle is hoping Damo asks her while on this romantic holiday.

“This could be it” she tells The Advocate while getting a manicure in Joy’s Nails on Fifth Street.

“All my friends are dropping like flies around me, 3 have gotten engaged in the last month – and they haven’t even been together as long as Damo and I.”

“Now whenever we go anywhere, I make sure I’ve had a fresh manicure, you know, just in case.”

If getting a pre-emptive manicure wasn’t enough, it’s believed Rochelle has been somewhat of a location scout and has already shortlisted a number of potential proposal spots which, she says, she’ll subtly get in front of Damo.

“Obviously I want him to think it’s his idea, like he’s chosen everything”

“But a little steer can’t hurt, you know, plant the seeds.”

It’s not yet known whether a proposal is even on Damo’s mind, judging by his spending habits down at the North Betoota RSL 4 nights a week a proposal is the last thing on his mind.
