Hurley Issues Cease And Desist Letter To Prime Minister Morrison

Multinational surfwear brand, Hurley International, has today sent in lawyers to demand that Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison stops wearing their products immediately.

The cease and desist was drawn up last week, after it became clear the Morrison was not going to be a ‘akubra politician’ and is opting to appeal to the nation’s rural voters by wearing the type of headwear that is most common for small town teenagers.

While Morrison is being praised for not patronising farmers with a wide-brim, in the same way Malcolm Turnbull did when he accidentally wore a $8000 Panama hat to Goondiwindi during his brief stint as Agricultural Minister last year, Hurley loyalists are saying that they don’t like seeing their favourite brand being politicised by the husky Reaganist from the Sutherland Shire.

“Bro, he doesn’t even surf” said a spokesperson for Hurley.

“This isn’t a good look for us, bro.”
