Things are on the up for a local Betoota band this week, after their drummer finally got a drivers license and his very own car.

The Worm Burners, who formed in Betoota’s Bayside, have posted about their joy on Instagram today.

The bands’ singer/guitarist, Yumi Kahpahk-Nou, told the Advocate that she was “thrilled” that the WB’s drummer can now make his own way to gigs and “lug all his fucking shit around in his own fucking car”.

The bands bass player, Roland Garros, echoed Yumi’s sentiment. “Oh man, he destroyed the inside of my car, and my mums. She’s still filthy about it”.

“This will change everything” Garros continued. “No more driving 20 k’s to his place, or waiting for him to get the fucking bus to rehearsal, or stopping at the traffic lights and getting fucking bootzed in the back of the head by a snare drum. It’s a god damn miracle I tell ya”.

We tried to speak to the drummer, though he was unavailable before time of print.
