12 Examples Of The Australian Golden Age That Yesterday’s Protesters Apparently Want Us To Go Back To

Thousands of Australians hit the streets to protest ‘mass immigration’ at different rallies across the country yesterday, causing the government and media to condemn the far-right undertones that saw a visible presence of neo-nazis and white supremacists at each rally.

Several of the protests resulted in clashes with counter-demonstrations, and police, as disenfranchised citizens responded to a call to action from faceless social media users.

Many protestors feel that their political messages were dampened yesterday by Nazi gatecrashers, with a large number of participants claiming to not be racist. Rather, they just feel as though the government is prioritising resources away from everyday citizens and instead focusing on an ever-growing migrant workforce.

But what is different now compared to ‘before’ – The Betoota Advocate has compiled a list of 12 undeniable examples of how Australia used to be better.

  1. NATIONAL PRIDE
The 1980s was the peak of Aussie culture when our entire identity was forged by coked up Sydney advertising executives who told us how we spoke and dressed through the artform of beer and tourism commercials. It’s like nobody puts shrimp on the barbies anymore.

2. ECONOMIC GROWTH
17% interest rates encouraged fierce entrepreneurialism. Those who didn’t have the ambition and political networks to survive simply went bust! Some fine examples of Australia’s leading business innovators below!

3. COMMUNITY
People went to church! Before that leftist witch-hunt Royal Commission tried to claim that 20% of clergymen had either committed, aided or abetted child abuse against the most vulnerable members of our society whose own parents didn’t believe them!

4. JOBS
Australia was better before white middle class kids had access to university and TAFE, nowadays the only people who deliver pizzas and look after the elderly in minimum wage jobs are unskilled migrants who are just happy to have work.

5. AFFORDABLE HOUSING
Houses were cheap because we had more supply when banks got to choose who they gave loans too. Nowadays everyday Aussies have to compete with high income homosexuals… and women are allowed to get a loan without the written permission of their fathers! This has nothing to do with public housing stock decreasing from 30% to 3% in two decades

6. NO YOUTH CRIME
Children were disciplined with canes in school, and if that didn’t work they were sent to boy’s homes. This made them less likely to commit petty crimes as kids – and kept them off the streets until they were adults that could be sentenced to life in prison as serial killers

7. MEN WERE MEN
None of this mental health awareness rubbish – anyone whining about their feelings were just called poofs.

8. WOMEN WERE WOMEN
None of this equality rubbish back in the day – the Australian population was able to grow steadily without importing migrants because women were happy to stay home and give birth to Aussie kids!

9. DUTY
Australians used to serve their country! and exchange for that, they got given a quarter acre block in the bush. Unless they were Aboriginal. And if they didn’t want to serve, we just conscripted the poor boys with single mums that nobody cared about.

10. NO GOVERNMENT WASTE
Australia’s economy is struggling because of the welfare state. Nowadays there’s so little money in the kitty that our government struggles to even provide tax exemptions for major mining corporations. Before all of our tax dollars were wasted on Medicare and the NDIS, this country thrived off the back of medical poverty and the unpaid labour of elderly females.

11. SOCIAL COHESION
Australia was way better when white protestant men were the majority of voters. Sure the Catholics and Jews struggled to get a job on council, and Aboriginal people and women couldn’t vote, but surely that was better than what we have now where you can’t bloody say anything!

12. NO RED TAPE
Tens of thousands of jobs have been lost to bureaucrats over the years. If a man wants to spend his life digging up asbestos out of the ground in Baryulgil, who the hell is a trade union grub or leftie politician to tell him otherwise!
