The Federal Opposition is in panic stations this week, as they begin to dismiss the Australian media are merely ‘activists’.
On Monday, Peter Dutton was filmed describing Australian journalists a ‘hate media’ – before spending three days ducking questions at press conferences.
But it’s not just the journalists that Peter Dutton says are actively attacking him, he also says every single independent polling company are too.
Dutton says there’s a “big disparity” between the national polls and the internal Liberal Party tracking in key seats, and says millions of undecided voters will determine the outcome of this election.
But that’s only if the biased media stop attacking him.
On his fourth interview of the week with the balanced and impartial Murdoch-owned TV programme Sky News After Dark, Peter Dutton said the travelling press pack are political agents hired to destroy his reputation.
“I just think they’re so biased and many of them are just activists, not journalists,” he said.
“Their position becomes counterproductive and they’re playing to a particular audience, to a Green voter.”
The junior field reporters in the travelling press pack now joins an array of major TV anchors on Peter Dutton’s list of ‘hate media’ enemies.
From News.com’s Samantha Maiden to Channel Seven’s Natalie Barr, it seems even the most senior journalists in Australia are now leftists.
The Today Show’s Sarah Abo and ABC’s Sarah Ferguson almost are also leftists.
In fact, regardless of how professionally they conduct themselves, any assertive female journalists who ask questions that Peter Dutton does not like, should be ‘steered clear of’.
That’s according to the Opposition Leader who is convinced that all competent female journalists are working together as one organised unit – in an effort to stop Australia from getting back on track to where it was before these same hate media activists had Scott Morrison unfairly ousted as Prime Minister.
