The Sydney Roosters have won the 2026 NRL grand final by one point, in what was the most cruel, exciting and exhausting sporting soap opera in recent history.

The Newcastle Knights fans are currently stunned at the 18-19 result.

But one undeniable contribution to Sydney Roosters' one point winning margin is a bad motherfucker named Spencer Leniu.

Turns out sometimes it helps having the bad guy on your team, as he single handedly turned around the match momentum multiple times with his wrecking ball approach to rugby league.

To quote Spencer's Leniu's childhood hero, WWE Wrestler Scott Hall:

"Hard work pays off. Dreams come true. Bad times don't last, but bad guys do."

Maybe the Blues might pick him for Origin now.
